Bevil Lucas

Bevil Lucas is one of Reclaim the City’s leaders and is a resident of Cissie Gool House (Ex-Woodstock Hospital).

He is the Woodstock Residents’ Association’ Chairperson.

Bevil is a long-standing union organiser, anti-apartheid and housing activist.

Hi holds a post graduate diploma in heritage and museum studies UWC.

Hi has been part of the formation of the Cosatu and served in various positions in the trade union movement for many years.

He serve on the Board of International Labour Research Information Group.
